Who's your manga-ka? Oda Eiichiro is your Manga-ka, that's who!!!!
WONDERFUL SPOILERAGE FOR ALL TO ENJOY!
Ace appears to have floated into Marine held waters - what's the significance of Marine G-2 Shibu? *prays that's Hina's base*
Another chapter of pure gold from the master - including lessons on the properties of pure gold! Luffy and Ener fight; Ener gains the upper hand when he manipulates the gold to wrap around Luffy's arm, trapping him. The giant gold ball rolls off the deck of the Maximus and takes Luffy with it. Ener even wipes out the flying horse and Aisa for good measure.
In the meantime, the people of Skypeia are wondering what's up with Upper Yard and Conis is hot-footing it back to the Going Merry. Nico is trying to help Zoro and Chopper.
Nami is left alone on the Maximus, holding Luffy's hat. She declares that there is nothing that Ener has that she could ever want from him. Ener smirks, the thunder rolls and he asks, "So that includes your life ..."
Cut to Conis who has made it to the Going Merry. She finds the little fox, Su, in a state of panic because THE BEDS ARE EMPTY!!!!
When I saw the final panel, I clapped, I cheered, and I did an impromptu tango with my Luffy plushie! GO SANJI AND USOPP!!!!! For it shows Usopp airborne and hanging from his retractor belt from the bottom of the Maximus while Sanji climbs the rope!
Womit will be seeing more activity in the days and weeks to come then poor neglected PiP. OP is tasty goodness but it does not help me pack, plan, or fill out the fackin' FAFSA. If you need to get my attention for some urgent reason, email WILL be the best way to do that. If you don't have the address, leave a note and I'll supply it. Over and out.

Very odd. I've only had two death dreams in my life. The one that keeps coming up repeatedly is that I am a Special Agent on the trail of a notorious serial killer who has finally been tracked to the mean streets of Philly. I have him cornered but he refuses to be taken alive. He shoots and gets me right where my bulletproof vest isn't covering me, upper left torso near my collarbone and it nicks a vital artery. I die in a bloody puddle on the sidewalk before my partner can get to me and hear my last words which are "Tell my husband and kids I love them." Afterwards my partner takes the guy alive and the serial killer is sentenced to fifteen consecutive life sentences in a maximum security prison. I am given awards posthumously which my grieving husband accepts from the mayor of Philly. The End.
Sorry if that was morbid, but I find it kind of amusing considering the quiz results.
It has been a not so hot day. I had a great desire to boot every child I saw out of the metaphorical boat and into the water with the giant sea monster. There is a reason some animals eat their young.
I would get into it but if it ain't OP it ain't on this blog. A short "your welcome" to Lyn. Mess has a new tarot card at North Blue.Jen has put up a Sannami fanlisting. I know there are people I'm missing but I just wanted to check in, say an emphatic "I'm not dead yet!" and now I must go back to the "real world" aka place where I have to pack.

Weather - Typhoon ^_^ Kendo-sensee taught me new moves last night - mostly by whacking me about the arms and shoulders when I did something wrong. It reminded me when we were training and the DS told us that we would run until we fell over but that if we fell over we would be kicked until we got back up. Needless to say, no one stopped. Motivated, motivated, downright motivated ... A fond memory. That's right. Though I am bruised and sore, I am happy. Pain gives me a sense of accomplishment. ^_^ Lots of other things give me a sense like that too. Twas a sign I tell you!)
I hope to make it to Sugoi-con. Anyone else? Possible OP cosplayers I can molest?
Social: Lise, you`re too nice. Wanting to be a pirate does not excuse bad fic. I like the pre-lim layout for the Eternal Pose.
reins' new layout is so cute. Ace is all sleepy and vulnerable to Nico's advances now. Get 'im!
bialy continues to make me snort Yoohoo out my nose.
Whee! Onsen time!
Anime: OP Since the animators don`t want to catch up with Oda, they`re filling in the details in interesting ways. Nami`s original adventure at Upper Yard is extended with a bit of snooping around. The pirates have a much longer encounter with the White Berets where they fight properly, and the White Berets appear to be more of a team and less like complete and utter weenies who stole my cloud covered pajama bottoms. Sanji has more opportunites to hit on Conis, and when Nami, Nico, Zoro, and Chopper get taken away to the altar, an explanation is given as to why Zoro and Nico didn`t kick lobster-tail to free the ship. So there`s still filler, but it`s relevant filler. And everything is so very, very, very funny.
Sanji (as the GMG is taken away): Why ... why is Nami-san wearing a T-shirt?
There`s a new ending. The animation is wicked cool and stylistically much different than the other endings. I`m not so sure about the song but I wasn't too entranced with Ruppina's last one either, so I'm prejudiced.
Ficcage I`m still dabbling with them but they`re 99.9% done. Over the Moon is now Rely on your Crew and La Vie Boheme (Life Cafe) is now La Vie Pirate (Party`s). You'll get the most out of it if you know the songs. You'll get more out of it if you just understand that it works when I sing it. Now to finish on that Zoro/Tashigi duet. *stabs duet to death with a spoon*

I sat down to watch Inuyasha tonight, something that I don't often get to do. I'm not a rabid Inuyasha fan so I'm not really up-to-speed on what's going on. Even if I don't know what's going on, it's still fun to listen to Yamaguchi Kappei do his thing. He's such a talented guy. So imagine my surprise when the first character on screen was voiced by Kusao Takeshi, seiyuu to my rebel Kohza. I'm gonna have to get to know this Bankotsu a little better! Wahoo! And he's ebil. An ebil bisshie leader with a big ole sword. *cackles with delight*
Then another OP friend and neighbor Hirata Hiroaki, aka seiyuu for Sanji, showed up! I was so happy because this character seemed very polite and nice and then he gutted an old man in cold blood. @_@ Chibi-nasu what have you done?

Goodness look at me - a writing machine. Two more chapters of Watermark - now with more non PC death and plot! I bumped up the weekend's "penance in the form of humor" quotient with another chapter of MST:OP. Contrary to what Ben and Shanks conclude in this chapter, merely saying "I'm sorry" will NOT absolve one of all sins.
Whoa. Look at the fanlistings by Zee and Marie! I'm waiting for Mess' Marine fan-enlisting too. And look she is Queen of North Blue. Whee! More OP sites!
Skuld, what's the best way to review stories on Rose is Rain? I would prefer not to go fangrrl about a non OP related topic on my blog. But I may. *licks 'Perfect'* I had to wait until I saw the movie but when I did I ran off to read it and ... phew. Who knew code could be so mmm mmm good? Everyone, check it out if you like visual imagery.
On an old note: I wonder if Oda realizes the turmoil he throws into fandom by saying casual little things like, "Oh, someone's leaving this year." He probably does it on purpose and then surfs the BBS boards and laughs at all of us. Or maybe I'm projecting what *I* would do if I had the power of an entire fandom hanging on my every word. (makes note not to let self get anything resembling 'power')
Speaking of fandom, I'm sorry that it's being such a bitch for youtwo. Lise, I understood what you meant about the characters driving the fic and not the other way around. Personally I prefer my SanZoro to be the zinging thrum of machismo in the air, so thick you can almost taste it, as opposed to what happens in the doujin. And Chou I am equally pissed about that fan's comments, but I imagine for different reasons than you. The automatic assumption that series aimed at fangirls aren't complex pushed one of three buttons of mine. The button that makes me want to introduce a fanboy's crotch to a wiffle bat. But you ranted better than I so I shall move on. ^_^ <- happy face to remind everyone that I am not as violent in real life. Honest.
This Weeks Jump: Non Spoiler Edition!
What is it about Ace... Is it the boots? Is it the half-open shirt? Is it the freckles? Mmmm, freckles. Oda is exploiting the cowboy theme with the influx of mini heilan coo/Jersey cross-breeds in the background. CURSE THE CUTE-NESS! Urge to drink milk rising ... rising ...
What makes me want to punch Ener in the face so much? Is it his scaly nose? His camel-lashes? His hammer pants? His ears? Hmm. The ears. CURSE HIS EARS! Urge to tie them into knots rising ... rising ... We learn many important things in this chapter such as the conductivity of metals, there's no rubber in Sky Island (won't go into the socio-anthropological problems that could pose - no wonder land's so scarce), and that you can't hurt what you can't hit. Tricky evil Ener! So who's going to start an Ener-hate fanlisting?

Ever since Lise mentioned her new fic idea, I`ve gotten the itch to ink again. Unlike some people, I'll make sure it's spelled right.
Ace: Hey.
Yassop: Can't spell AND yer a wuss. Your arm? Your back? Puh-lease.
Jonny: Get some guts, Ace. Face tats are the way to go.
Yassop: Oh yeah.
Jonny: Hardcore.
(Jonny and Yassop high-five.)
Ace: The ink has gone to your brains.
reins, THAT was always a pet fetish. Dark and damp indeed. Miaow. Speaking of miaow - lyn made a licky layout. Yum. Tastes minty fresh. Zoro's scar hurts my tongue though. (puts on track shoes and gets ready to run)
Let's take a Self-discovery Test! Feel free to answer the questions while you read and then read the analysis at the bottom.
You are on a path. What does it look like? The starting point is in a forest, but it winds through green hills until it disappears into the mountains in the distance. The path is loooooooong, but I'm psyched. I have my yellow backpack, a camelpack, a walking stick, and a sword. Hydrated and ready to go!
You see a cup in the middle of the path. Describe it and what you do with it. The cup is metal, maybe aluminum or silver. It's dinged up like hell and reminds me of a mug prisoners would bang on the bars in old movies. It has definitely been discarded so I pick it up and put it in my backpack. Suckas!
Further down the path you find a key. What does it look like and what do you do with it? First I ask myself, "Who's throwing all their stuff away?" The key is pretty important looking. If I were to have a big cage to put a dragon in, this would be the key that would lock that cage. I take it because you never know when it might be useful.
You meet a bear! What do you do? The bear is Slumpy Panda! I pet him on his slumpy head and walk on.
You come to a clearing. Describe it. It's HUGE! It goes as far as the eye can see - like the Midwest plains. Those mountains are looking distant but who cares? I run through the tall grass and pretend I'm a gladiator. I hum Enya to set the mood, then lay waste about me with my walking stick. Take that, Joaquin Phoenix! (Note: I get bored very easily when hiking.)
After you pass through the clearing you find fallen trees in your path that block your way. What do you do? I scramble over them easily and continue on my way.
You come to a body of water. Describe it. Do you drink from it? It's a creek. It looks cold and inviting. I can cross it since it only goes about chest deep. Since I really like water, I chill and go swimming. It looks pretty clean so I drink and fill up my camelpak too.
You come to a fork in the road. One way leads to a village and the other leads deeper into a forest. Which way do you go? Screw the village. I shoulder my backpack and sword and continue on! More adventure awaits!
Analysis:
The cup represents knowledge. I like knowledge because having it makes other people suckas.
The key represents wisdom. I believe wisdom can always come in handy.
The bear represents adversity and how you deal with it. I make friends with adversity and find it cuddly even!
The clearing represents your outlook on life. Life is wide open. When bored, I like to fill life with unnecessary violence and imagined Joaquin-beatings. ^_^
The trees show how you deal with problems. I go right over problems like they're nothing.
The water represents sexuality. (feel free to construe what you like)
Chosen path represents the unknown I'm down with the unknown.
I finally laid the smack down on Smoker and got him to be IC for me so there'll be more OAG soon. Maybe a chapter of WAM as well?
(Ussop Liar Detector: "laid the smack down" being a euphemism for "bribed him with pictures of Alvida.")
(Ussop Liar Detector 2: "bribed him with pictures of Alvida" being a euphemism for "brought him a box of Cubans and grovelled")

Nik started a Chaka listing and FORGOT TO TELL ME. I imagine that you were caught up in writing excellent Vivi fic writing and it slipped your mind. You will be excused this once. Speaking of excellent fic, Lise and Mess both posted this weekend as well. Yeah for the flood of fabulous and refreshing fic on ff.net! *heavenly chorus begins to sing* It's desperately needed. (PS, Mess - good luck on the LSAT!)
Glad you liked the vampirate-ness - Buffy lends itself well to spam. *sigh* And I knew you would enjoy it. A pity that. Hopefully some newbie will come along and not get the joke... Yup, Zoro, Kuina and then the soul-gone TASHIGI!
Zoro: ...i can't fight you...i know there's some good in you still Kuina...
(Tashigi kills Kaya.)
Usopp: ...
Tashigi: Still think that, lover boy?
Zoro: Dammit. Why'd you have to go and do that, woman?
On a musically inclined note, I just finished learning how to play Jenny and Giles' theme from Passion. Fear my awesome angsty piano powers of doom! Muwahaha!
Right on, Chou. Those were funny coz they were TRUE.
Sleep is for the week, FB. And in case you didn't notice, I've been taking the RQA charas from Sylph's underspammed fanlisting.
Mihawk: So it's HER fault!
Me: That's right! Not the Author at all!
Mihawk: The capes are crying... FOR JUSTICE!
Tashigi: HEY!
Me: Run, FB, run!
Bishie Jango! Speaking of tang~, get over there and spam the new entry. It only speaks of sadness when *I* am the only one who has proferred an entry. Go forth and spam, my sistern and brethern! *Poke, prod*
New Jump:
The new woman in Ace's life looks like she's ten. Ace and Nico's "so right it should be canon" non-relationship is safe! Plus I can't hate a little girl who takes care of cows that look like a cross between Jerseys and heilan coos. (I have an amazing soft spot for orange fuzzy cows from Scotland.)
Weareall vindicated. Reins, your plans to sell Ener to a gay bar might have had a wrench thrown in them - he ain't gonna be selling nuthin with his face like that. Muwahahaha! Floppy the Camel-lashed is gonna get whumped!
Lyn, Vanp might be in some of my anths. I can check if you want.

While Jen-logic is compelling, it cannot sway the inevitable. SG will end. But I'm not unbribable; if the publishers offer me enough money, I'll write a sequel.
I must begin to by saying that the combined might of "Naked Sanji on my Head" and Kurae-kun, the aptly named Shinai of Doom, have made me a kendo opponent feared across the Bihoku region. All elementary school children cower before me! Muwahahaha!
BIALY IS A GAWD. Only gawds (or rabid fangrrls) would go through a billion and one Japanese sites to find eye candy for me. You are a research machine. Thank you so much. Some of those pictures made my eyes bleed; it was education in a small Kuro Kandy Shell (TM). Yum. Candy.... Ahem. Yes. I also meant to say that I have a doujin from Bajo del Sol and one from the artist who did the "we`re surrounded by gay" picture you found. You'll receive scans when I return to 'safe' territory. Yakusoku desu yo.
I found Scary Go Round because the artist did a fill-in for Sluggy. I found out that before Scary Go Round there was Bobbins. Bobbins has a Kohza-looking-like cast member. Or so I think. In the following strip, substitute "Amy" with Vivi and pretend that Tim is Kebi. Tada! And I will call him `all conquering soldier guy.` Yup, I'm bonkers. Love me or leave me; I won't change.
FYI - keep an eye out for a sixteen chapter Smut Garden update! Oh yes, the grand Smutty Saga will soon come to its inevitable conclusion - but not before I spam every OP character there is. Muwahahahaha!

Went to Hiroshima and saw Roger and Me, ordered my copy of the UK edition of Harry Potter 5, and cursed out the television for refusing to show me OP for the second week in a row. (shakes fist at TV programmers)
This week's chapter gave me my OP fix though. Let's start with the splash page adventure. When we last left Ace, he'd been kicked into the river by irate townsfolk. So who is this chica giving first aid to our near drowned, still unconscious Mera Mera nii-san? Now I have to wait until next week to see the face of Nico's potential competition. But I give props to the mystery girl; I only wish I were as lucky when pulling random objects out of a river. ;9 Chapter summary: Conis gets 100 points for the dramatic confrontation with her people. I love what Oda does with each panel. He conveys so much motion AND emotion on paper. Plus girls with bazookas rule. Nico has recovered enough to start thinking how they're all going to get away safely.
Nico: No, my Nico-sense was tingling! Ace was in trouble! I must save him from that harpy! Nico is tough. She's received a similar impalement to Luffy and has been zapped but she's the first one up and ready to go. Three cheers for Robin-nee-sama! Huzzah!
And the whole thing ends with Luffy vs. Ener. Oh yeah.
I HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER WEEK?! NO!!
Bialy, you treat your fellow fangrrls too well with all that work. I enjoyed every link and spent many... minutes persuing the fanfiction. *shudders* That one page - is the author on a mission to match Usopp with everyone? And urg. Kaya with Kuro? I guess she's a very forgiving person. Or brain dead.
We fangrrls may have sappy chewy centers, reins, but first a person has to get past the many, many layers of nuts. XD I must have been smoking something when I bid because I have some racy books sitting here. The elusive bishie Jango has been captured! @_@ I still can't get over it - he shouldn't look like that. There is some Fullbody x Jango but it appears that Jango did not quite get over his first love coz when Kuro comes to town.. the angst! The pathos! The inappropriate use of Marine holding cells and rope! And they say romance is dead. ^_^ I can't take it seriously. I've tried. It doesn't work. 'S pretty though.
Let's move over here to the less salacious reading material. My Kohza doujin was perfection on paper and it had a surprise Tashigi story in it! Mess, you would love it. It illustrates the mentor relationship not to mention has a Capt. Softie moment. Just for a second. Nothing that ruins Moku Moku O-ssan's credibility. ^_^
Why in the world did I bid on all this MeraMoku smut? Could it be I have a secret fetish for men who refuse to wear shirts in public? No! Because that was never secret! ^_^ It was because Duobrand was in the auction. I love them so I will ignore this other stuff that portrays Ace as a manwhore. I want to share scans of my doujin with everyone. If I could sneak into the computer lab I'd ...no, I think Kocho-sensee would have some things to say about that. It'll have to wait until I get home. Erp! Two months away!
Silly, I wasn't addressing the rant to you! I know your intentions are honourable and...I know you're a fangrrl is what I'm saying. ^_^ Did you get the inappropriateness? Yup. It would HAVE to be ShushuxLaboon.
